Certainly we don't see all of this economic volatility as the dasher of optimism for the United States either. When considering the economic indices and 1998 final visitation levels, short term growth may be slow but expected recoveries will spur us into a record breaking international visitation level in 2002 when international arrivals will exceed 52 million visitors.
