Auto is the still remains the predominant mode of transportation for over six out of ten U.S.-bound Canadian travelers. This year, however, the gain was seen in air travel, making up nearly three out of ten of all trips of one or more nights. This represents a four percentage point growth over just last year and a 13 percentage point increase since 1992! This dramatically underscores the affects of Open Skies taking hold and spurring this segment of the Canadian traveler.
