Support President Obama's National Export Initiative: "Go Global" In Your Marketing and Sales Efforts
Take Advantage of Discover America Pavilions Organized by B-FOR International in Top and Emerging Markets in 2010-2011
Earlier this year, President Obama outlined his National Export Initiative to expand the American economy and to sustain and create jobs for American citizens by doubling exports within the next five years.
The travel and tourism industry can play a major role in this export expansion initiative by introducing new travel related goods and services to potential international travelers as well as to professional travel and tourism industry organizations and representatives who will subsequently introduce and sell those U.S. exports around the globe.
One of the ways to get into the international arena of sales and marketing for the travel and tourism industry is through participation in branded U.S. Pavilions, which provide U.S. travel and tourism destinations and organizations with an in-country opportunity to interact face-to-face with their primary buyers through cost-effective participation alternatives.
B-FOR International, working in concert with the U.S. Travel Association, have developed a series of show pavilions under the Discover America brand which serves as a unifying element for the industry, collectively positions and promotes the United States, and serves as a quality standard for representing U.S. travel & tourism interests abroad.
B-FOR International promotes worldwide travel and tourism events as efficient media for promoting inbound U.S. travel, and - in cooperation with the U.S. Travel Association, the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Service, and Visit USA/Discover America organizations around the world - has developed Discover America Pavilions tuned to the industry's and the international markets' needs.
Booth pricing varies from show to show, depending on the country and show cost levels, the size of the Pavilion and what is included in the offered participation options. Typically, a booth in a Discover America Pavilion is priced about the same as a basic shell scheme booth offered by the show organizers, but includes a number of services and amenities.
